reading and lancaster and 15 below in millville. you have to bundle up and cover up as much skin as possible especially if you're outside for a while. in the delaware and lehigh valleys this morning you could get frostbite on unprotected skin in 15 to 30 minutes. in the poconos 15 minutes is all it takes. 4 degrees in philadelphia. 3 above the record there's a shot we get down to 1 degree which would tie the record around 6:00 a.m. by 8:00 a.m., back to 3. 1 by noon. there's the high, 17 greece at 3:00 p.m. cars will have a problem starting up, but the batteries are not fully charged this morning. we've seen problems with disabled vehicles over the past several days. right now we're looking at i-95, the roads are clear and dry traffic is moving fine right here. we have problems on the road in chadds ford, 202 southbound shut

to new york safely boarded another train. eva pilgrim is at septa's fern rock station getting information on how mass transit is getting ready for the morning commute. she'll have a live report at 5:00 a.m. icy roads are blamed for involving a crash with three buses in delaware. 16 children were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. the first bus was slowing down when the third bus started to slide, it hit the second buts which crashed into the -- second bus which crashed into the first. the cold is responsible for 6 deaths in the area. the most recent was an 86-year-old man from allentown. he was found steps from his door yesterday morning. five other cases were in montgomery county over the past month. the coroner said all of the

deceased were senior citizens. check the storm tracker 6 live app, both the hourly and seven-day forecast are there to help you get ready for potentially record cold temperatures. breaking right now a person was ambushed and murdered overnight. the gunman shot a 39-year-old in the head while inside a mercedes benz at 1:30 a.m. the gunman fired seven shots at close range right through the vehicle's windshield. breaking, police say a man was on fire when he was seen running from a house in the city's kensington section that was on fire. the man was taken to temple university hospital to be treated for burns on 60% of his body. it is unclear what started the fire. developing this morning a gunman shot and killed a limo driver in the city's olney neighborhood.

this happened near west tabor road at 9:00 a.m. witnesses say they saw two men open fire. appears they were shooting from outside the limo. the limo driver was pronounced dead at the scene. co-workers said it was a 44-year-old father who was held up multiple times before. armed robbers were at work in west philadelphia. a trio has been praying on people bundled up against the cold and not paying as much attention is they should. surveillance video catches a robbery. it shows a woman walking into her apartment. the 3 bandits follow her in. police are putting out a warning about the cold weather bandits. >> we understand it is cold with the headphones on and the hoods up and not paying attention as they should. don't live in fear, live with awareness. pay attention what's going on. >> through surveillance footage

it's well below zero. but for what it's worth, 17 in philadelphia. 24 in april kay. 14 in allentown. it will feel like 15 in philadelphia. in the poconos we have a windchill warning it's an advisory until 11:00 a.m. clouds increase as the day goes on. by 2:00 p.m., the northern and western suburbs places like allentown and reading will have to be on the look out for snow. about # or 4:00 p.m. that snow is in philadelphia. 5:30 it's starting to push off the majority of the region. might be mixing down south rain and sleet. the good news here warm air will be coming in from the south during the evening. by 11:00 everybody is changed over to rain. there might be a period of sleeting in the lehigh valley and reading and some areas north and west.
